RABBITTOWN -- The East Hall soccer teams split a pair of matches with East Jackson Friday night.
The East Hall boys shut out East Jackson 6-0 getting goals from six different players.
Jonathan Portillo scored his first career goal, while Diego Trejo, Enrique Valencia, Nikko Andrade, Ricardo Bacerra and Phillip Lucero also had goals for the Vikings (4-3-1). Ricardo Rosales had two assists, and Cristian Almendares, Nikko Andrade, and Julio Avila each had one assist.
In goal for East Hall, which has now won two straight games, Osmel Funes had two saves and Emmanuel Andrade and Abel Olvera each had one save.
The Lady Vikings dropped a heartbreaker to East Jackson as the Lady Eagles scored the game-winning goalas time expired to win 2-1.
Trailing 1-0, East Hall had gotten the tying goal from Bertha Rondan with two minutes left in the game. Cintia Argueta had the assist.
Both teams next will play host to Heritage on Wednesday.
