FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Flowery Branch baseball team equalled its win total from 2010 after just its sixth game of the season courtesy an 11-1 victory over Cedar Shoals on Wednesday in Flowery Branch.
Andrew Laur picked up the on the mound for the Falcons (5-1, 1-0 Region 8-AAAA), allowing three hits and giving up only two walks in four innings work.
Jesse Brookshire paced the Falcons at the plate, going 3-for-3 with three RBIs.
Flowery Branch plays host to Clarke Central on Monday.
