SUGAR HILL -- The West Hall boys tennis team remained unbeaten after whipping Lanier 5-0 Friday in Region 8B-AAA action.
The Spartans (11-0, 7-0 in subregion) dropped just five games in getting the win.
Max Wilson whipped Hendhi Agena 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles and Connor McFall beat Kevin Wagner 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles. At No. 3 singles, Min Kim whipped Spencer Wallace 6-0, 6-0.
In doubles, the No. 1 team of Jacob Bruns and Ryan Casey won 6-1, 6-0 over the team of Damon Singleton and Nick Kerr. At No. 2 doubles Sam Pinson and Austin Dyer beat Armin Zmajevac and Kris Hedrick 6-0, 6-2 to complete the sweep.
West Hall next will travel to Johnson for a key 8B-AAA match.
