Weekend traffic checkpoints in White Co. net 32 arrests

CLEVELAND - A series of highway checkpoints all across White County over the weekend netted 32 arrests.

Capt. Jim Couch, with the White County Sheriff's Office, said those arrested were charged with a variety of offensives including DUI, drug possession and various traffic violations. Couch said the Georgia State Patrol, with the assistance of the sheriff's office, conducted the road checks which were conducted Saturday.
