DOUGLASVILLE - An attorney says a woman who attracted national attention when she gave birth to a child whose father - a Gainesville teenager - was 22 years her junior has reached a new agreement on visitation rights to the child.
Attorney Kim Dymecki, who represents Lisa Clark Gonzalez, says a confidential agreement was reached during a hearing in Douglas County Superior Court.
The woman and her husband had sought unsupervised visitation with their 3-year-old son, Skye Cobain Gonzalez. The child was born in 2006 while his mother was serving a jail sentence for statutory rape.
Clark Gonzalez, then 37, married her husband when he was 15 and was later prosecuted for having sex with him. The child was placed in the custody of Lisa Clark Gonzalez' former co-worker, Angela Perkins.
