Gwinnett keeps rolling, wins fifth straight

PAWTUCKET, R.I. -- The Gwinnett Braves shut out the Pawtucket Red Sox 2-0 on Friday night at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket, R.I. The G-Braves won their fifth-straight game to improve to 10-12 while the Red Sox drop to 10-10 on the season.

Gwinnett batters finally chased Red Sox starter Michael Bowden in the seventh inning after he held the G-Braves to just one hit in six innings. Bowden came out for the seventh but walked the leadoff batter Brian Barton and allowed the next batter, Brooks Conrad, to reach on a fielderâ
