Barrow Co. man killed in wreck

DACULA - The man killed Sunday night on Auburn Road near Dacula has been identified as 21-year-old Robert R. Wilson of Auburn.

Gwinnett County police say the Barrow County man's car left the road and crashed into a tree about 8:30.

"Preliminary investigation indicated that a Silver, 2006 Toyota Scion TC, was traveling east on S.R.324 (Auburn Rd)," Cpl. Ed Ritter said. "The driver was negotiating a curve at a high rate of speed when he lost control causing the vehicle to leave the roadway striking a tree."
