ATLANTA -- Baseball season arrives at Turner Field tonight as the Atlanta Braves host the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Fans are being encouraged to arrive early and to take MARTA if possible because of the expected crowd.
The first pitch is at 7:10 p.m., with pre-game ceremonies getting under way at 6:30 p.m. The ceremonies will include a video tribute to the Braves.
Turner Field parking lots open at 3:10 p.m. -- four hours before the first pitch.
``American Idol'' runner-up Diana DeGarmo of Snellville will sing the national anthem.
