Duluth - The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that forward Matt Anderson has been called up to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.
Anderson started his season with the Wolves before being loaned to Gwinnett from Chicago on December 13. Anderson played in 10 games for the Wolves before being sent to Gwinnett, notching an assist and compiling a +1 plus/minus rating.
The forward spent another two games with the Wolves between March 1 and March 8. Anderson was returned from loan to Chicago on March 1 and played for the Wolves that night, notching a goal in the 4-6 loss to the Milwaukee Admirals. Anderson also saw time in the Wolves' 4-1 win over the Providence Bruins on March 2.
Anderson played in 29 games in Gwinnett before being called back up to Chicago on March 1. After rejoining the Gladiators on March 8, he notched 4 goals and 6 assists for 10 points in the last six games. In 35 total games with Gwinnett this season, Anderson has 13 goals and 14 assists.
Anderson should be available for the Wolves as they travel to Rockford to take on the IceHogs on Friday night.
