Trojans sweep Chestatee

MURRAYVILLE - The North Hall boys tennis team opened a busy week of action with a 5-0 win over Chestatee Tuesday afternoon.

The Trojans (6-2, 4-0 in Region 7A-AAA) did not drop a set in sweeping the match against the War Eagles.

Jeff Agnew beat Brandon Camp 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, Jim Butts beat Shail Patel 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2 singles, and at No. 3, Trey Anderson beat Carlos Penado 6-0, 6-4 to complete the singles sweep.

In doubles action, Charlie Reynolds and Stefan Meagher whipped Brandon Boyer and Eliseo Alvaredo 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1, and Drew Webster and Cody Marlowe beat Read Langhenry and Scott McConnell 6-1, 6-3 at No. 2 doubles.

North Hall will play at Lakeview Academy Wednesday, play host to Lumpkin County on Thursday, and travel to Gilmer on Friday.
