DAHLONEGA - They came by the tens of thousands this weekend - upwards of around 200,000 by some estimates - to Gold Rush Days in Dahlonega.
Drawn by picture-perfect weather, the arts and crafts, music, food and other attractions, people packed the town Saturday and Sunday.
It is one of the oldest and most popular of the fall festivals in northeast Georgia.
Next weekend, it's Dawsonville's turn... the 40th annual Mountain Moonshine Festival will be held.
