Chicopee pro is state PGA Golfer of the Year

SEA ISLAND - The Assistant PGA Professional at Chicopee Woods Golf Course in Gainesville, Greg Lee, is the Georgia PGA Player of the Year.

According to a posting on Georgia PGA Web site, Lee brought the honor home recently after capturing the E-Z-GO Georgia PGA Championship held at Sea Island Golf Club's Retreat course on St. Simon's Island.

This was the 47th edition of the E-Z-GO Georgia PGA Championship. E-Z-GO, a division of Textron, is the world's leading manufacturer of golf carts and based in Augusta.
