Jefferson, Dawson County, East Jackson, and Banks County all staved off elimination with Game 2 wins on Friday.
Now, all four will need at least one more to advance to next week's Sweet 16 in the Georgia High School Association state playoffs.
Union County also needs a win to clinch its Class 2A series.with Stephens County. The two teams' only got one game in on Friday so the Indians could force another Game 3 with a win in the first game on Saturday.
