Hall fills remaining principalships

GAINESVILLE - Three new principals in the Hall County School System have been named - filling the remaining vacancies for the coming school year.

Karla Swafford, currently the principal at the Alternative Learning Center, will become principal at Oakwood Elementary, replacing the retiring Diane Chandler; Kevin Bales, currently assistant principal at West Hall Middle, will become principal at East Hall Middle, replacing Eddie Millwood, who will be moving to Davis Middle as principal; and, Tamara Seymour, currently assistant principal at Chestnut Mountain Elementary, moves to Martin Elementary as principal, replacing Jo Dinnan, who becomes principal at Wauka Mountain Elementary as principal.

The announcement was made by Deputy Superintendent Will Schofield.
