OAKWOOD - The North Hall boys and girls took wins Tuesday in a track and field tri-meet with Fannin County and Johnson at the Johnson track.
The meet was called early because of darkness and two events were not run.
The Lady Trojans piled up 58 points to 39 for Johnson and 15 for Fannin in the meet.
North Hall got wins from Elizabeth Niedfeldt in the 1600- and 800-meter runs. Amanda Albertson won the long jump with a jump of 13'2", while Krista Palmer won the pole vault with a vault of 6-feet.
Michele Lee won the 400-meter, Sarah Nish took the 100-meter, and Sarah Cassady won the 3200. The 4x100 relay team of Albertson, Nora Sweet, Susan Harper, and Nish won with a time of 55.6 seconds.
In the boys meet, North Hall 84 ran away from the competition amassing 84 to just 32 for Johnson 32 and 21 for Fannin.
The Trojans got wins from Dayton Presslar in the discus while Chase Hulsey and Michael Weaver tied in the pole vault at 7'6". Hasten Page won the long jump, Ethan Satterfield took the triple jump, and Bert Harrison won the 1600.
Nick Long won the 3200, Seth Satterfield won the 200, Aaron Mann won the 110-hurdles and the 4x100 relay team of Ethan Satterfield, Tyler Browning, Page, and Seth Satterfield won with a time of 46.4 seconds.
North Hall's next meet is Thursday at Chestatee in a tri-meet with the War Eagles and Gainesville.
