Warriors' Bishop takes 2nd in state weightlifting

CLEVELAND - White County's Tyrone Bishop, took first place in his weight division at the 2006 Lee Murray/GACA Weightlifting <br>
State Championship.<br>
<br>
Bishop competed in the 171-180 pound weight class and lifted an overall 1,115 pounds. He power-cleaned 290, squated 465, and benched 340. His "weight-to-weight" ratio was 6.3 pounds.<br>
<br>
White County placed second overall in the state place in the state in its division.<br>
<br>
It was the schools first-ever trip to the state championship in weightlifting.<br>
