Nearly 3-week school break begins today

GAINESVILLE - A nearly three-week break begins today for students in the Gainesville and Hall County school systems but the classrooms won't be completely empty.

For teachers there will be a chance for some planning sessions during the break in classes.

Both systems have planning days built into the schedule between now and the day students return, January 4.
