GAINESVILLE - Construction was to begin Monday morning on a new turn lane in Sugar Hill.<br>

Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) District Engineer Russell McMurry says the work will involve construction of a left turn lane from State Route 20 eastbound to Sycamore Road. Work will continue daily, weather permitting, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.<br>

The project is expected to be finished by the end of the week. <br>
