CLEVELAND - Organizers say both sides of the issue will be addressed at a meeting in Cleveland Tuesday night dealing with plans for a new interstate highway in northeast Georgia.
The Stop I-3 Coalition say local, state and federal officials are among those expected to speak at the meeting.
In addition, the coalition says experts on areas impacted by the project will present information on both the pros and cons of the proposed road.
The highway would connect Savannah and Knoxville.
The state Department of Transportation has said fears of environmental damage caused by the road are unfounded.
The meeting will be at 6:00 at the White County High School gym.
