Hall schools Early Release Day next week

GAINESVILLE - The first of the Hall County School System's Early Release Days for all students will be next week.

Students will be dismissed from all elementary, middle and high schools two hours early Wednesday so that teachers can meet for professional training that targets student achievement.

Lunch will be served on the Early Release Days.

School officials say if your child rides a school bus, he or she will arrive at their scheduled stop two hours earlier than they normally are dropped off. They say if you have any questions regarding after school programs or school-sponsored athletics, please contact your child's school directly for information.

Hours for the YMCA after-school program will be adjusted on these days to accommodate children enrolled in that program.
