Gainesville getting four rookie troopers

ATLANTA - Four new troopers have been assigned to the Gainesville State Patrol post.

The four are among 28 who graduated Friday from the state's 81st Georgia State Patrol Trooper School after a seven-month training course.

One of the four is from our area: A.J. Allen of Demorest.

All of the new troopers were assigned to vacancies at the 48 posts around the state.

The others assigned to Gainesville are: J.K. Crews of Glennville, D.M. Bryant of Dexter and W.A. Richardson of Macon.
