SAVANNAH - Justin Edwards pitched a complete game in the opener and Byron Hatcher survived a shaky start in the second game and Calvary Day swept Mount Paran Christian 3-1 and 10-4 on Tuesday to win the GHSA Class A championship.<br>

Edwards allowed only two hits and Hatcher yielded only four, but Tyler Bennett's two-run homer in the first inning gave Mount Paran (24-11) a 2-0 lead.<br>

Justin Fields' RBI single capped a three-run third inning that gave Calvary Day (28-7) the lead. Chris Jacobs' sacrifice fly in the fourth broke a 4-4 tie and gave Calvary Day the lead for good.
