The Cherokee Bluff girls' 4X200 relay team captured the Class 3A state championship on Saturday in Albany.
Sydney Trone, Tasheika Thompson, Morgan Smith and Camilla Medina bested the field to win the title.
The 4X400 team, Agnessa Lasey, Morgan Smith, Camilla Medina and Tasheika Thompson finished second overall. Sydney Trone was second in the 100-meter dash, third in the 400-meter and seventh in the long jump, and Emery Jones was runner-up in the discus and finished sixth in the shot put.
The Lady Bears finished fourth overall in Class 3A.
On the boy's side, the 4X400 relay team of Will Jacobs, Tyler Underwood, Logan Wynn, and Peyton Watt finished second overall, and Will Jacobs was fourth in the 200-meter dash.
