LEESBURG - Jason Heyward hit a three-run double in the sixth inning on Wednesday to lift Henry County to a 16-14 win over Lee County and the GHSA Class AAAA championship.<br>

The teams had split a doubleheader on Tuesday, making the third game necessary.<br>

In game three, the Trojans (32-5) scored five runs in the sixth to take a 14-8 lead, but Heyward's double with the bases loaded gave the Warhawks (24-10) the victory.<br>

Lee County committed seven errors, including four in the third inning along with three wild pitches by pitcher Jack Posey.
