Ellard, Cronic get gubernatorial appointments

GAINESVILLE - Two Gainesville men have been named to state boards by Governor Perdue.

Martin Ellard has been named to the Metro North Georgia Water Planning District Governing Board. Ellard, 77, a consultant to the CPA firm he once headed, will serve as an at-large member.

Hall County Sheriff Steve Cronic has been named the Sheriff Representative, on the County and Municipal Probation Advisory Council.
