FLOWERY BRANCH - The Flowery Branch City Council is addressing a number of issues during a retreat this week.
The agenda includes a look at zoning, what the fast-growing town will look like in 20 years, what Flowery Branch needs to do to attract more commercial development, and whether more land is needed for government facilities. Also on the agenda: pursuing an aggressive annexation policy and an organizational chart and duties.
The retreat, which began Monday, will conclude Tuesday, 8:00-4:00, at the Flowery Branch Depot.
