ATLANTA (AP) Jacqua Williams came off the bench to score 20 points in 23 minutes and Georgia Tech surged to a big early lead and beat Longwood 81-41 Tuesday night.<br>

Williams, 7-for-9 from the field and 5-for-5 from the free throw line, hit two layups during a 12-0 run that gave Georgia Tech (8-1) a 27-10 lead.<br>

Janie Mitchell had 16 points for the Yellow Jackets and Stephanie Higgs had 12 points and 10 rebounds.<br>

Georgia Tech, which led 50-17 at halftime, outrebounded Longwood (3-8) 49-35. Anna Steg had nine points and 10 rebounds for Longwood.<br>
