Alabama 101, Jackson St. 66

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) Richard Hendrix scored 23 points and had a game-high 12 rebounds and four others reached double figures Tuesday night, leading Alabama to a 101-66 rout of Jackson State.<br> <br> Jermareo Davidson also achieved a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds for the Crimson Tide (6-4). Chuck Davis added 17 points, Alonzo Gee had 14 and Ronald Steele 11.<br> <br> Trey Johnson scored a game-high 25 points for Jackson State (4-7) and Julius Young added 13.<br> <br> The Tigers trailed 42-30 at the half, and after the Tide opened the second half with an 18-5 run, Jackson State wouldn&#39;t get closer.<br> <br> Alabama led by as many as 38 points on two occasions in the second half when Hendrix scored underneath with 4:17 left and when Davidson scored on a putback just seconds later.<br> <br> Jean Felix&#39;s 3-pointer with 46 seconds left pushed the Tide into triple figures.<br> <br> The Tide held Jackson State to 37.3 percent shooting, while hitting 59.4 percent of its shots and outrebounding the Tigers 42-33.<br> <br> Alabama also forced 18 turnovers, scoring 30 points off them.<br> <br> (Copyright 2005 by The Associated Press.
