GAINESVILLE - Just back from the Christmas break, and Gainesville school officials are already thinking about the next school year.<br>

Kindergarten registration has begun in the city school system and will continue each weekday through January at the elementary school of your choice - except if English is your second language. <br>
<br>
Those students must register at the International Center next to Fair Street Elementary School.<br>
<br>
The hours are 8:00-3:30, Monday-Friday.<br>

You will need to bring:<br>

*Birth Certificate (must be 5 on or before Sept. 1, 2005)<br>
*Proof of residence<br>
*Immunization Record<br>
*Social Security Number<br>
*Eye, Ear and Dental Certificate<br>
