<p>Leon Murray completed a 2-point conversion pass to Dialleo Burks in overtime to give the Georgia Force a 53-52 victory over the Los Angeles Avengers on Monday night.</p><p>The Force (2-2) pulled within one point on Murrays 9-yard touchdown pass to Dameon Porter with 9:22 left in overtime. Georgia coach Marty Lowe eschewed the conversion kick, which would have tied the score, in favor of a 2-point try.</p><p>Under AFL rules, both teams are guaranteed a possession in overtime. If one team is ahead after each have had a possession, the game is over. However, the game is decided on a sudden-death basis if the score is tied after each team has a possession.</p><p>The Avengers (2-2) scored on a 35-yard pass from Tony Graziani to Joe Douglass on the opening possession of overtime before a Staples Center crowd of 10,236.</p><p>Murray completed 27 of 38 passes for 297 yards and six touchdowns. Graziani completed 23 of 36 passes for 253 yards and six touchdowns.</p><p>Force kicker Steve McLaughlin tied the score with a 50-yard field goal as time expired in regulation, 19 seconds after Grazianis 6-yard pass to Greg Hopkins had given Los Angeles a 45-42 lead.</p>
