With one week left in the regular season, Class AAA No. 1 East Hall and No. 7 White County have wrapped up the Region 7-AAA subregions in the boys standings.
White County (18-5, 7-1, 10-3) can lose both of its remaining games against Chestatee and Gilmer but by virtue of a better overall region record wins the subregion title over North Hall (13-8, 6-2, 7-6) who finishes against Pickens County and Fannin County.
East Hall (21-2, 7-0, 13-0) has wrapped up the South subregion with Gainesville (19-6, 5-2, 11-2) second, and Johnson (12-10, 3-3, 8-4) third. West Hall and Flowery Branch will play Friday for the fourth spot. The Falcons (9-12, 1-5, 5-7) beat the Spartans (9-12, 0-6, 4-8) earlier in the year.
North Hall can wrap up second in the North with a win Tuesday over Pickens, which is tied with Fannin in the subregion standings.
Fannin (7-16, 4-4) and Pickens (9-14, 4-4) both have 4-9 records overall in the region and have split both their subregion games. Fannin plays last place Gilmer Tuesday.
Chestatee (3-18, 2-6, 3-10) needs a win over either White County or Pickens to wrap up fifth but owns a tiebreaker over sixth-place Gilmer (3-20, 1-7, 1-12) having beat the Bobcats twice.
