The winning shot followed a furious rally by Lakeview (15-7, 6-3) to tie the score.
J.B. Little, who led the Lions with 19 points, hit the last of his three 3-pointers to make the score 59-59 after a wild sequence.
Lakeview had a chance to tie or win the game but Dustin Wellborn's 3-pointer missed and Jefferson was fouled on the rebound with 2 seconds left. The Dragons' Chris Wilburn missed the one-and-one free throw attempt but got his own rebound to run out the clock.
"We played pretty well. If we make a couple of plays we win the game," Lakeview coach Richie Hughes said. "Jefferson made a couple at the end and that was the difference. But J.B. hit a huge basket and that was big shot because the guys know that they can make clutch shots when they need too."
Will Crumley added 18 points and Dustin Wellborn 10 for the Lions.
