Jefferson, Dawson take wrestling titles

UNDATED - The Jefferson and Dawson County wrestling teams both won their respective state duals championship over the weekend.

Jefferson won the Class A tournament for the second straight year and is the three-time defending Class A champ in the individual state tournament, which is slated to begin next week.

Dawson won the Class AA champsion for the second straight year. They lost to Morgan County last year in the individual state tournament by just one-half point. That tournament begins next week.
