HIAWASSEE - The Lakeview Academy girls could not get anything going on offense for the second straight game, this time in the Region 8-A consolation game against host Towns County.
The Lady Indians outscored Lakeview (18-7) 27-16 in the second half to erase a 16-11 halftime deficit and pull away for a 38-32 win.
Chelsey Chastain and Christi Thomas, who average nearly 25 points a game, were held to 9 combined by Towns County.
Hannah Bennett led Lakeview with 10 points.
The Lady Lions opened the game strong leading 12-5 after the first quarter. They trailed just 25-23 after the third quarter on the strength of their defense. But Towns was able to hold off several late runs to get the win.
Lakeview will play the winner of the Region 5-A title game between Heard County and Bowden.
