OAKWOOD - Both Lakeview Academy tennis teams got their seasons under way Monday at West Hall.<br>

The Lady Lions fell 3-2 to West Hall in a tight match.<br>

The West Hall boys shut out Lakeview 5-0.<br>
<br>
Lakeview took the first two singles points with wins by Cassie Martin and Amey Keans. Sarina Rhole won the first set but then dropped the next two and the match to West Hall's Martha Vital.<br>

West Hall won the doubles point with Sarah Joseph and Alex Minnilti beating Katie Clark and Lindsey Paulson.<br>

Lakeview forfeited the No. 2 doubles.<br>
<br>
In the boys matches, West Hall earned the win without dropping a set.<br>
<br>
Drew Wilkerson, A.J. Weiss and Mark Bruza took singles wins. Kyle Addison and Daniel Sage won at No. 1 doubles and Matt Wirt and Brent Durden won at No. 2 doubles for the Spartans.
