GAINESVILLE - A Hall County Superior Court jury has convicted a former county school bus driver of molesting and sodomizing three young boys.
District Attorney Jason Deal has said the charges against Edsel Star are not related to his job as a school bus driver which he held for less than a year before leaving it last spring.
Star was convicted of seven of nine counts facing him which involved allegations made by three boys who were 7-, 5-, and 4-years-old at the time.
He is to be sentenced next month after sentencing hearing.
Deal said Thursday morning Edsel faces a possible life sentence.
