PEACHTREE CITY - The Gainesville area could see its first frost of the season Friday night and a freeze warning has been posted for some area counties.
Forecasters say scattered frost is possible in Gainesville by morning as temperatures drop to near freezing.
Meanwhile, a freeze warning has been posted for late Friday night and early Saturday morning for eight mountain counties: Dawson, Fannin, Gilmer, Pickens, Towns, Union, Lumpkin and White.
