Plans finalized for Hall political forum

GAINESVILLE - Plans have been finalized for next week's political forum for candidates in contested races that will be on the ballot in Hall County November 2.

Sponsors for the forum are the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, The Times and WDUN NEWS TALK 550.

It will be held Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 at the Georgia Mountains Center.

All candidates will be available to speak one-on-one with voters before the forum. The forum will feature candidates from the following races:

State Representative - 26th District: Ashley Bell (D) and Carl Rogers (R)

Hall County Commission - Post 2: Virginia Pearce Kelly (D) and Billy Powell (R)

Hall County Tax Commissioner: Keith Echols (R) and Herb Harris (D)

Hall County School Board - Post 3: Craig Herrington (R) and Mary Faulkner (D)
