RABBITOWN - The East Hall Lady Vikings upset the Johnson Lady Knights 50-43, and the Vikings made it a clean sweep, dropping the Knights 107-62 Tuesday night in Region 7-AAA South action.
The inside game of East Hall's Whitney Pruitt, Jennifer Harris and Whitney Jones proved to be the difference in the girls' game.
Pruitt led the Lady Vikes in scoring with 12 points, followed by Harris with 9 points, Jones with 8,Kela Coleman with 7 and Lisa Coleman with 7 points.
The cold-shooting Lady Knights were led by Whitney Randolph with 10 points, followed by Brooke Baker with 8 and Sarah Lane with 6 points.
Johnson falls to 11-4, 1-1 in the subregion. East Hall raised its record to 10-5, 2-1.
In the boys' game, the high-scoring Vikings jumped out to a 17-2 lead and never looked back. The Knights entered the game missing three starters and several reserves due to injuries.
Sam Greavu led Johnson with 14 points, followed by B.J. Jackson with 11, DeShawn Cheeks with 10 and Cameron Glasper with 9.
East Hall had six players in double figures.
The Vikings improved to 14-2, 3-0. Johnson fell to 9-6, 1-1.
