MURRAYVILLE - Caitlyn Tilson went three years without scoring a game-winning basket.
After her layup with 7.1 seconds Friday night gave the North Hall girls basketball team a thrilling 57-55 win over Pickens County, she's now done it twice in a month.
She scored the game-winner in an upset win over Flowery Branch two weeks ago.
Tilson's shot capped a 6-0 Lady Trojans run over the final 2:11.
North Hall (7-6, 3-1 in Region 7-AAA North) trailed early but looked to have the game in control at halftime with a 30-21 lead.
But the Lady Dragonettes (8-11, 1-3) used a 26-13 run in the third and fourth quarters to take a 47-43 lead.
The final 45 seconds saw both teams with chances to take the lead. North Hall missed a shot and committed a turnover while Pickens missed four shots before Tilson took a pass and drove down the right side of the lane for the basket.
Pickens never got a shot off after alling timeout with 1.2 seconds left.
