MURRAYVILLE - The North Hall boys basketball started fast and finished quicker Friday night against Pickens County in a key Region 7-AAA North battle.<br>

The Trojans (8-6, 3-1) opened the game with a 6-0 run and finished the game with a 7-2 run and never trailed in between in taking a 66-55 win.<br>
<br>
Pickens (7-12, 2-2) cut the lead to 8-5 but North Hall went on an 11-0 run to run out to a 19-5 lead.<br>
<br>
The Dragons came back again using a 13-4 in the second quarter to cut the Trojans' lead to 25-23. North Hall again responded closig out the first half on 7-0 run for a 32-23 halftime lead.<br>

North Hall came out flyimg to start the second half openinga 55-35 lead only to see Pickens storm back with a 17-3 run to close within 58-52 with 2:36 left on a 3-pointer by Nick Wood, who finished with 5 3-pointers and 23 points.<br>
<br>
But North Hall's Ronny Hulsey closed the door scoring four of his team-high 22 points in a 30 second span for a 62-52 lead.<br>
<br>
Robby Hamilton added 16 and Russ Short, who scored the game's first five points, had 12.<br>
<br>
For Pickens, Colby Shaw had and Stephen Hunter 10.
