Vikings, Warriors still perfect in Region 7-AAA

Class AAA No. 1-ranked East Hall and 12th-ranked White County lead the Region 7-AAA boys standings at almost the halfway point of the regular season.

The Vikings and the Warriors are both 4-0. The two teams will meet Saturday night in Cleveland in a non-subregion game.

On the North side, the surging North Hall boys are 3-1 having won 5-of-6 games overall since the Lanierland Tournament. Pickens and Fannin County are both 2-2 while Chestatee is 1-3 and Gilmer 0-4.

On the South side, No. 8 Gainesville and No. 10 Johnson are both 2-1. The two teams' meet Tuesday night at Johnson in a battle for second place.

West Hall and Flowery Branch are both 0-3 and those two teams will play at Flowery Branch Tuesday.
