JASPER - The Chestatee girls basketball team snapped a four-game losing streak with a 60-59 win over Pickens County Tuesday night on the road.<br>

The Chestatee boys lost their sixth straight after losing 86-62 to Pickens in the boys game.<br>

Brooke Puckett had a season-high 26 points to lead the Lady War Eagles, 11 in a pivotal fourth quarter that saw the lead change hands several times.<br>

Chestatee (5-11, 2-3) will play host to Gilmer County Friday night. The Lady War Eagles beat Gilmer in their subregion opener earlier this month.
