OAKWOOD - The Johnson High wrestling team swept a tri-match duals meet with Jackson County and Stephens County Thursday night.
The Knights (13-14) got the wins with starter Charles Estrada at 145 and Chris Grindle at 103, who did make weight by less than a pound.
Johnson got several strong performances to get the wins. Juan Gomez (119), Spencer Arnold (125), John Michaels (152), Troy Milton (215) and Dustin Cleveland (275) each picked up two wins with two pins for the Knights.
Thad Bowers (112), Phat Vu (135), Chad Cole (145), Nick Wright (160) and Josh Pearson (171) also earned wins for Johnson.
The Knights next will take part in the Ram Duals on Saturday at Newton County High School.
