With the win, Fannin (18-4, 6-1 in Region 7-AAA North) pulled into a tie with White County (12-9, 6-1) for the subregion lead with three games left.
The Lady Rebels led from start to finish but could not shake off the Lady Warriors. They led 18-10 after the first quarter but saw that trimmed to two points several before leading 34-28 at halftime.
"Our inside game was working good for us tonight so we just kept going to it," Fannin coach Johnny Farmer said.
White County's D.J. Galbiati kept the Lady Warriors in the game with a game-high 32 points but got little help as Fannin was able to control the inside.

"That was the difference but we kept letting them in the game with some defensive breakdowns," Farmer said.
White County was able to get as close as four in the fourth quarter quarter but could not get a lead.
Fannin will play host to Chestatee, which has won 3 of its last 4 Friday night while White County will play host to Pickens County.
