West Hall knocks off unbeaten Trojans

MURRAYVILLE - Only Johnson now remains as the only unbeaten boys basketball team in Hall County.<br> <br> The North Hall Trojans were knocked from the ranks of the unbeaten Tuesday night on their home floor, falling 71-63 to West Hall.<br> <br> The Spartans (3-2) trailed 52-51 heading into the final period and 63-62 with just over two minutes left. But West Hall&#39;s Jerry Kendall, who finished with 22 points, hit a jumper to give them the lead and they finished the game with a 9-0 run.<br> <br> North Hall (3-1) led by as many as 10 in the first quarter but just 35-32 at halftime.<br> <br> The task doesn&#39;t get any easier for the Trojans this week as they travel to Class AAA No. 2-ranked East Hall Friday night. The Vikings routed Chestatee Tuesday night 94-45.
