GAINESVILLE - A former chairman of the Hall County Board of Commissioners has died.<br>

Funeral services will be held Saturday for A.C. Stringer, Jr., was a member of the county commission during the 1960s. <br>

Stringer, 77, died at his residence Thursday following a brief illness.<br>

The funeral will be Saturday at 1:00 at Little-Davenport Funeral Home in Gainesville. <br>
