Jackson County man wanted for murder arrested in Madison County

DANIELSVILLE - The search is over for a Jackson County man Tuesday evening wanted for shooting another Georgia man to death in North Carolina.<br>

Billy Thomas Pearson was spotted leaving a residence near Watson Mill State Park in Madison County along with another person and was taken in without incident. <br>
<br>
Pearson is suspected for the October 25th murder of William Gary Stephens Jr. of Jefferson while the two were visiting North Carolina. <br>
<br>
Madison County Police also had an warrant out for Pearson, for failure to appear in court.
