COLUMBUS - The Buford Wolves girls softball team finished 2-2 in the Class AA state tournament.<br>

Buford dropped its first game to eventual state-runner up Pike County and then rallied for two wins in the loser's bracket.<br>
<br>
The Lady Wolves, who finished 21-14, beat Jeff Davis 5-2 and then whipped Tri-County 7-3 before a matcup against Union Grove for a shot at Saturday's semifinals.<br>
<br>
But the Lady Wolves could muster little offense in losing 4-1. They finished fourth in the state.<br>
<br>
Morgan County, last year's Class AA state champ, did not allow a single run in sweeping through the tournament witha perfect 4-0 record.<br>
<br>
The Lady Bulldogs beat Pike county 2-0 saturday for the title and outscored their opponents 26-0.
