JEFFERSON - A late touchdown gave Jefferson a come-from-behind 13-9 win over Athens Academy Friday night in Region 8-A.
The Dragons (6-4) trailed most of the second half.
The win gives Jefferson a third-place finish in the region. The Dragons will play host to Heard County next week in the first round of the Class A playoffs.
In other Region 8-A action, Commerce finished the year with six straight wins after a 34-14 win over Social Circle.
The Tigers scored 21 first quarter points to put the game away early. they willplay host to Whitefield Academy in next week's playoffs.
